I guess you did the right thing, you can’t expect this honey dip to sober up and clean up the mess. If she’s a good woman she’ll apologize and send you flowers or a bottle of wine (SIKE) to make up for it, when she’s over the embarasment.

I hope you made sure that she was well enough to find her door from the cab since NY can be a rough place, a gentleman should always make sure the lady gets home safe.
