Pretty sure this article didn’t include ONE mention of Zoe Saldana’s racial dating preference, even though 3/4ths of these imbecilic comments are concerned solely with that. Sorry but do some people believe they OWN a celebrity simply on the basis of a shared skin tone? I also like how a non-white celebrity dating white is always, at least subtly a product of white conspiracy to “steal” succesful minorities from their communities. Take bigoted fools like “the_donlamb” for instance: even though white male-black female interracial pairings are among the LOWEST statistically recorded, he sounds off with a near-paranoia about white males like they pursue black females at insurmountable proportions, lol. In fact it is black males with white females who produce among the higher rates of interracial romance. He is so lacking in a legitimate gripe that it borders on laughable, even
shamelessly pulling the slavery card.Newsflash: even if Zoe S. did happen to prefer blacks you internet whiners would
STILL have no chance with her, nor with Halle Berry, Rosario Dawson or any other so-called “sell-out”. Are there not still plenty of non-famous, non-rich women black women who date within their race? Oh yea, only MOST of them who do. Like I said, laughable to claim a gripe here. One last thing I’ve noticed is that these instances of heavy criticism against black female “sell-outs” seem to lean toward women from the lighter-skinned/mixed-descended variety. How many black men were complaining about Whoopi Goldberg dating Ted Danson way back when? And how many are opposed to Oprah Winfrey’s past of dating white men such as Roger Ebert and John Tesh? Interesting, how these situations don’t seem to draw much anger from black men.
