The African American dilemma is one that is affecting all races, but the lower the lower the socioeconomics the more amplified the lack of support and more aggressive treatment of Male children that increases over time. When we understand how average stress is correctly defined as layers of mental frictions that take up mental energy, then we can understand how differential treatment of Males in terms of more aggressive treatment allowed by society and more abrupt, harsh attention by parents, peers, and others creates more social/emotional distance from others; less acquired mental/emotional/social growth; higher stress that hurts learning and motivation to learn; and more activity for stress relief. This a problem with all races but relative to socioeconomics and time in those brackets. The nineteenth century belief girls should be protected is creating much kind, stable, mental/emotional/social support from infancy onward and thus lower average stress and continued support through adulthood. If you want the Male to be a breadwinner in the information age, you need to help society begin to treat Males with as much care in life as Females are receiving. This is the problem and it begins as early as nine months of age.

Not only is it every person for themselves, I’ve been trying to figure out why African Americans are acting like it’s the late 90s and there is still a surplus in the US economy. I believe we as African Americans have lost respect and compassion for one another. Our brothers have abandoned their roles as fathers, and head of the house.
I was born in the 60′s, and back then the family unit meant something, now we’re living in a world that it’s become every person for themselves. Are priorities are in the wrong place. Whatever happened to together we stand, and divided we fall. We need to be proactive when it comes to our family, neighborhoods and our world as a whole. We must leave a legacy for the next generation.

On the real though, these type articles are only made to divide and conquer. It’s funny how this article says that all these women are getting education and so smart and leaving and rising above the black man. Well if these women are so smart then why are 70% of black children born in this country born out of wedlock? Seems to me a smart educated woman would not want to bring her child up without a father? So the 2 aren’t adding up, either i’m missing something. Or seems like this is all a bit of propaganda? I’m just saying.

Smart educated folk wouldn’t do such a thing as to lay down with a man they aren’t married to. Studies show what happens to these children that don’t have a father in the house hold. And the thing is, not that the dad isn’t around. It’s the decision to have a child by a man that your not married to. All i’m saying is on 1 end let’s big up these smart educated ladies and the men gotta catch up. But as I said before, how smart can you be if you having all these kids, but you not prepared to bring up that young child in a stable family home.

So are these women so smart that they are just out thinking the system, and figuring out a way to raise great well rounded children without being married? i’m just sayin?

But maybe these smart educated women aren’t the ones having all these fatherless babies, maybe those are just the dummies, LOL…

Here is something very interesting, women have come a long way from the 70s to current day society. No longer is the man the breadwinner in most relationships, in today’s society women typically make more than men in most relationships. Whats interesting its that the drive in women has been stronger than the drive in men. When men were young , most did something stupid and did some time, garnered some felonies and ruined the rest of their lives. Not all black men by no means took this route, but statistics don’t lie and the prison records reveal more in dept details. Women have normally proved to be the cooler of the two genders, there are some stalkers, killers etc. but generally its the men who take the long ride to the correctional facility. Now here we are in 2010 and time has changed but the story is the same. THE MAN IS HOLDING ME DOWN! I am an American male, from African descent as i was told. No one is holding us down, brothers stop using excuses for everyday occurrences. Life goes on and the status quo doesn’t apply to me. I hate when people use that excuse. It shows weakness in our structure and then we are generalized. I don’t believe in how we interact with each other, its like we are doomed from lack of education with the language we call each other. The bottom line is this, there are an ocean of opportunities for everybody regardless of race. Stop making excuses and change your habits. I am the breadwinner in my relationship, i started a business and 9 years later the next generation will enjoy fruits of the labor created by hard work. It wasn’t a degree that did it but rather the dislike for the crying brothers who didn’t want anything out of life. Grow up!

Well I’mma put it to you short and simple…black women ARE prevailing bcuz the system is set up to entrap the black men while the black women move up. The sad thing is that black men allow themselves to be kept down by this systemical society and the fact that white men hated the strong black men of our ancestors, but allowed black women to get by. This is a simple question that deserves a simple answer. Women r winning the battle of the sexes why? you ask…well they r winning because men dont even know theres a competition. The amount of angst women have 4 men completely drives them to excel while men on the other hand (4 the most part) excels through a feeling of responsibility, if he meets a good woman ( which is highly unlikely nowadays ) and is a family oriented man he’ll take the step up. It may sound stupid but most mens drive to success is to impress or satisfy a woman ( because we know who you really love….benjamin franklin lol ). Even tho we still make more money than you because we usually do the most important jobs that if not done our nations infrastructure would crash i still think women r winning because what people and especially feminist dont understand is it may be a mans world but its a womans societys rules bend in womens favor ex. on a date its the mans place to pay if he doesn’t, opening doors absolutely 0 input on whether his child is aborted or not and if she decides to keep it, its your duty to pay up. Women r catered to by society and they still complain, they r like SPOILED BABYS lol . Even if a man marries and uses a prenup courts still find loopholes to serve the woman. The phrase “be a gentleman” (thats thrown in our faces often) is just a way to get men to bow down and comply with the womans every desire. If a man shares publicly by that i mean wide scale audiences, his views on how NEGATIVE AND OR EVIL WOMEN R (which is true even women say it about other women) He is socially outcasted., while women have entire shows dedicated to degregating men.
