I don’t believe it. On the show he even admitted to her that he was dating her for publicity!!! Now he wants to say that she was faking it?!?!? Khloe was clearly into him and she was visibly hurt when she heard the messages on his phone. I think he just doesn’t want to be labeled as the bad guy. He should have thought about that before he did what he did.
