this is such a sad story…you don’t realize how much you miss a person until they are gone…she did handle it like a mature woman…but she is classy all the way…until she’s pushed…then like most of us..of course she is going to push back…even though they had their problems…she didn’t speak negative about him…i really admire that about her…

I definantly can understand what Khandi is and went through. On February 8, 2010 I lost my husband due to a tragic car accident. My husband was not the driver and it was a one car accident. My husband and I had been going through a lot of changes. Good and Bad. At one point we had seperated, but God brought us back together at the very end. Sometimes I wonder did he feel something was going to happen. Let me explain, that Friday before the accident my husband gave me all of my Valentine stuff. Balloons, cards, flowers, tedy bears, and candy. Oh yes, he was a loving and thoughtful man. Always wanted me to have the very best. In some ways you can say I was spoiled. Anyway, the balloon said “all my love” and I remember him saying to me that Sunday do you see what that balloon says, I said yes, he said remember that always. My husband woke up that afternoon about 12:30 and said I’m going to get the rest of my stufff from my cousins house, I said no, just wait until the kids get home from school and I will take you. He didn’t wait, he called his nephew and they picked him up and he went and got his things and brought them back. About a half hour I text him to tell him I love him and he called me back and said I love you too, MAMA. I said I’ll see you when you get back. That never happened, the next time I saw my husband he was being taken out of a wreckage and put on a stretcher and I had to ID his body. It was one of the hardest things I ever had to on my life. How do you have a person in your life at 2:30pm and gone by 4:55pm? I still dont understand it. Just when things were coming together, God was ready for him. There are so many questions in my head. What if I had of said no, you stay here. Would he still be here? My husaband was a father of 2 biologically and a father figure to my 3 children. A lot of people didn’t understand my husband at times, but he had a BIG HEART. He loved his family witha all his soul and his heart. He was not just my husband, he was my best friend. So many things we went through. My husband was a diabetic and he lost his legs about 6 years ago. But he still remained independent, and strong. He was such an extraordinary man. Not perfect, but what human is? But he loved and touched so many lives. I often looked at my husband at times and was very proud of how he persevered everyday. But God had given him to me for 6 years and 6 months of marriage. When my husband and I first met he told me I was going to be his wife. After one failed marriage, I had made it up in my mind that I would not get married again, but he changed my mind on that. lol. I truly miss my husband everyday. I long to hear his voice or feel his touch. Its not an easy path to go down and I try to remain strong but at times I do get weak. And i cry, and cry. People tell you you have to move on, but how do you do that when the person yopu planned on m oving on with is no longer here? After reading Khandi’s experience I realize that I must stay strong and he will always be in my heart.

well as of 2-20-10 cAndi is doing fine! i actually just saw her in HOUSTON, TEXAS and she looked beautiful. She sang a few of her songs we conversed all through out the night! Tookk many of pictures. She wa full of life she will be back on the Housewoves of ATL and she is currently working on her solo albumn!!! She has been through it all and still seem to let her light shine. SO all in all God is Blessing her so the negativity can stop about her fiance and whatever else. She is humna just like us all!!!!!
