I’m not sure how true this is, but I feel bad for the couple if it’s true…Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon may have suffered a personal tragedy recently. According to sources who spilled the beans to the National Enquirer, Mariah has canceled a slew of public events and pushed back the release of her new album because of a tragic miscarriage she suffered earlier this month.
“She had a heavier than normal period and she thought she was miscarrying,” said a friend. “Mariah and Nick had been trying for a baby for a while, and the thought that she had lost the child just crushed her. She knows that at age 40 she would be a high-risk mom, and realizes that if she’s going to start a family, she should do it now.”
Last May friends it was reported that she was undergoing fertility treatments, and have been trying to have a child before her biological clock stops ticking.
“She is desperate to have a baby with Nick,” said her friend. “That fear is just consuming her. She can’t get it out of her head that something is going to go wrong. It is making her miserable
