The 40 year old can forget about a 30 year old…LOL. I’d never date someone that old. That’s too old to me. I’d never start my life with someone that old. What have you been doing the last 20 years? Anyone that has waited that long to get it together is never going to. To reach back and get someone drastically younger is a sign that a screw is missing.

Usually women date men 10 to 15yrs older than them,at least that’s what i’ve alway’s heard growing up.I’m 41yrs old and i actually don’t want a woman my exact age.I don’t have any kid’s so i’d say probably bout’ 30 or so.Still can push em’ out.So ladies(fine chocolate honies)i wanna be a babies daddy!But any way if a person makes you happy,as long as you’re two consenting adult’s…go for it!Ultimately it’s your life to live.

As a man I feel like yonger women do bring excitement and sponk to an older mans life.Also there are things that a younger women can learn from an older man during the relationship.I prefer a women that is more of in my age braket when it comes to serious dating though because eventually a younger women will not understand outside of bed what it takes to stay close to her man.I married an older women when I was young and it took me years to get that experience together again because of my maturity.Ladies when dating find someone as close to your calibor as possible because being on the money tip can leave you just like that on you tip e toes.

Old men just want young women just to make themselves look & feel good. So how childish is that. A mature man can get beyond the physical. Another thing, there is not much you can have in common with a man that is more than 10 yrs your senior…and if you are dating a man who is on medication (like blood pressure & high cholestrol meds) beware. The sex drive just aint there. Yes there are meds that might help (viag.) but those meds can kill too. Last thing I am adding; don’t think you are using a man that is older cause he is more settled financially either. He is more than likely getting more benefits than you are…guard your temple; if he aint no good in bed who is really losing.

i find that older man can only offer younger woman is just good sex-at first then they get just as lazy as younger men, i call it getting too comforable. i’m in a relationship with a older man who’s 49 and i’m 34, after o most 2 years of dating and having a baby with this old man, he’s no different then a younger man, i just found out today that he’s been getting off from work on friday’s at 2pm but he’s been comming home at 7pm of later. he let that slip by accident then try to cover it up by yelling i had a hard day at work, needless to say, older men are only good for a good lay and if they have money that’s a plus, my advice is use them and take all you can and go get vibator, at least you know where it’s at night.

i can very much relate cause espcially with # 2 and 3 i am a college student going into my second year my man is a college graduate n going for his master i still enjoy partying and hanging out with my friends and he always has something to say about it and he says somethign like how he is not into the party thing anymore thats not a big deal to him and i’m like well you know i’m not him he’s 25 im 19 i love going out and i’m not even near having it out of my system yet… its just a whole lot of things we debate about and mostly because of age difference and how we view things

I TOTALLY understand and AGREE w/this article! Been there done THAT and I would NEVER ever date a man 10 yrs or more older than me! SEX is the ONLY thing we’d have in common. One was 18 years older. Another 20 years older. Our music was different and our friends as well. My friends looked at him like he was my father and his friends looked at me like I was his daughter..although I know without a doubt, a few of his old assed male friends was VERY envious and would have LOVED to ‘hit’ dat! Cause their wives were fat, old and out of shape! I will NEVER date a MUCH older man.

@2good2bsingle, you are soooo right! I have always dated older men due to me being very mature for my age as well as my many life experiences for my age. I have always gravitated to older friends/lovers. Im currently engaged to a man who is 44 and also the father of my 1yr old and Im 28. I have to say he is by far the most amazing man I have ever met. I think at the end of the day age doesn’t matter because if you love someone, you have to work together to figure out how you can make it work. Communication plays a very big part as well as compassion and understanding of where your partner is coming from. Im not saying it will always work but it is possible. Im proof of that!

i’m 26 and occasionally date a 41 year old. the 16 yr age difference is big, but he an i are still at the same point in our lives, strangely enough. we’ve both been married, had kids (only 1 in my case), been divorced, and are happily living independently. we don’t feel the need to go clubbin all the time, but we like to go out occasionally. we are happy just having a glass of wine, and cooking on the grill for the evening, and in the bedroom….he has more energy than most young men i know. sometimes its just a number…but i met a 42 yr old man that looked and acted like he was well into his 60′s. just depends on what your mind set is…

WARNING: Only those who are guilty of being the types that I’m about to speak of will be offended!! All others, feel free to read on. Age really isn’t (for the most part) anything but a number, but there are other things that must be ‘Factored in’. For one.. Girls/Women DO mature EARLIER (NOT MORE) then Men do, but, at the same time, they’re judgement is SEVERELY ‘Off’ (to put it mildly) at a young age. For example, most Girls/Women at a young age (while they are young and at their most attractive) chase after the wrong things in a male (Gold Teeth, Jewelery, Fancy Car, Light Colored Eyes, ‘Good Hair’, Six-Pack Abs, etc.). Then after having several (in some cases) kids for these types of Males (I can’t refer to them as Men. Sorry), they begin to learn that an older and more mature guy (not necessarily Retirement Age! lol) is a much better decision. There’s a lot more to this lesson, but.. I’ll save that for those who really wanna know. [This has been another public service announcement] ;-)
