BET misled the true fans of Michael Jackson stating the BET Awards would be a tribute. It came up short and actually was its originally planned show with an extra 30 minutes or so of Michael Jackson tributes sprinkled throughout this almost 4-hour show. BET had the first opportunity to make the King of Pop shine in his moment of silence and instead forgot to highlight the achievements of Michael Jackson. All the young performers can dance but none did a Michael Jackson routine, only Jamie’s comedic act. WOWWWWW I give it a D overall. And, thank you Neyo because you saved the show. You were the essence of Michael Jackson during your performances to honor a loved one we have lost so sudden.
