Colin Kaepernick Posts Malcolm X Videos To Justify Not Voting
San Francisco 49er Colin Kaepernick is caught in a firestorm of backlash after he revealed he did not vote in the 2016 election. Colin was revered as an activist after he began kneeling during the national anthem before his games.
Sports commentator Stephen A. Smith led the brigade of criticism, in the wake of Trump’s victory, with a searing speech, saying Colin betrayed his cause.
Colin reacted to the backlash by posting two videos of civil rights activist Malcolm X, that seem to represent his justification for not voting:
