Woke bae Colin Kaepernick took a knee during the national anthem again Thursday night and debuted a huge, glorious Afro in the process.

#BlackTwitter took notice of his freshly oiled Afro and quickly launched #KapSoBlack. Although the hashtag spelled Kaepernick’s name incorrectly, we love the movement behind it.

The quarterback recently declared he will not stand during the national anthem until race relations change for the better and justice is served. As expected, the 28-year-old has received plenty of backlash for the profound protest, but he’s also received support, with two more NFL players, Eric Reid and Jeremy Lane, sitting out for the patriotic moment during Thursday night’s game.

Check out some of our favorite tweets from the hilarious hashtag:

Thank you, #BlackTwitter. You never let us down.
