Well, this is one way to get fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld‘s attention: display an eerily accurate, artistically created, larger-than-life depiction of the king of fashion in Rome.

On the day of Fendi’s 90th Anniversary, which the 82-year-old began working with in 1965, PETA protested against Karl’s love of fur.

The show was an opportunity for Fendi’s in-house fur atelier to really collaborate and debut its first “Haute Fourrure.” This move further positions the luxury brand as a fur-focused company.

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) UK posted a video of an activist dressed as Karl with an oversized head, condemning him and Fendi for their “love affair with fur.”

The activist brought light to fur farms, where wild animals are driven insane, and illustrated the manner in which animals are slain. They even held up a bloodied stuffed animal which portrayed the fashion mogul’s cat, “Choupette, and asking the question: How would she feel about her owner’s love of fur?

Karl Lagerfeld and Fendi have yet to comment.
