Nearly twenty years after the murder of The Notorious B.I.G., his former wife Faith Evans has confirmed that fans can expect a new album entitled The King & I from the couple this fall.

“Today, if he was alive, I know, ultimately, we would’ve done something like this,” said Faith. “But the way the stuff has come together, and the way I’m using his vocals, it’s giving the stuff new life, it’s totally different.”

The Grammy Award winning singer compared the collaboration to the posthumous duets album Unforgettable between Natalie Cole and Nat King Cole.

When asked how B.I.G who was 24 at the time of his death, will be incorporated into the promotion of the new album Faith added, “We actually are in development with a hologram, but I don’t necessarily know to what extent I’m gonna perform with it.

“But I want to debut it in the first video for the album, and maybe use it a little bit performing live. But that depends on a lot of things.”

Beauties, are you interested in hearing previously unreleased music from B.I.G? Do you think posthumous albums are a good idea for fans or is the already released music enough?
