Queen Latifah plays a charming waitress, who embraces a mother/daughter duo when they need it the most, in the upcoming T.D. Jakes, DeVon Franklin-produced film ‘Miracles From Heaven.’
Based on a true story, the inspiring movie follows Christy (Jennifer Garner) and her daughter Anna (Kylie Rogers) after she is diagnosed with an incurable disease that leaves her family seeking a miracle as they search for a solution.
In this EXCLUSIVE clip, Angela meets Christy and Anna at the Boston Children’s Hospital and offers to take them on a tour of the city on her upcoming day off.
“I know that my faith has brought me through a lot of situations,” Queen Latifah told TheHollywoodReporter. “It’s not about what people think. It’s about my connection with God, and that’s important. I thought it was a cool story. It appealed to the 12-year-old kid in me. Magical things happen.”
‘Miracles From Heaven’ hits theaters on March 16.
