Nicki Minaj is mourning the loss of her tour manager De’Von Pickett, 29, who was stabbed to death in Philadelphia Wednesday morning.

According to reports, a bar fight broke out at the Che Bar & Grill in Philadelphia’s West Oak Lane neighborhood then spilled out into the streets where De’Von and a friend Eric Parker, 27, were stabbed. The altercation allegedly involved an employee who had recently been fired from the bar. They were both in town rehearsing for Nicki Minaj’s Nicki’s upcoming “Pinkprint” European tour.
“Two members of my team were stabbed last night in Philly. One was killed. They had only been there for two days rehearsing for the tour,” Nicki tweeted.
The music industry is also struggling with the loss.
