Mathew Knowles has a really good explanation for hawking his daughter Beyonce’s stuff for cheap prices at a garage sale at his House Of Dereon Media Center in Texas. The former manager says he sold the items to make room for renovations and claims he isn’t strapped for cash despite recent rumors. Mathew said he has big plans for the property and intends on building a studio.
“Somehow that became we are going out of business, homeless and selling all of Beyonce’s stuff to stay alive, which as you can see it’s just the opposite,” he told local news station KPRC.
“If I needed money, I wouldn’t sell $5 T-shirts, I’d sell a Grammy or an MTV award,” he added.
Mathew is insulted by the rumors. Are you buying it?
