J. Cole Plans To Drop His Next Album With No Single

How ambitious of J. Cole to release his next album “2014 Forest Hills Drive” on December 9 without a single or nothing Jesus. Cole announced the upcoming opus on Twitter with a link to a trailer with the same title, that documents his return to his old North Carolina neighborhood.

“I’ve gotten to this point in my career and realized that, yeah, I’ve got a lot more dreams and I want to go further, but, at the same time, I don’t want it if it’s at the expense of my happiness,” he says in the seven-minute clip. “And I don’t want it if it’s at the expense of my sanity or if I have to become someone who’s so out of touch with what’s real, the people that love you and the people that you love,” he adds.

“2014 Forest Hills Drive” has a lot of hype to live up to. His last album “Born Sinner,” sold over 700,000 copies.
