Barbara Walters doesn’t know what’s in store for “The View” now that Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy are leaving.

ABC explained the cast changes by claiming that the show was getting ready to go in a new creative direction. Speaking out for the first time since Sherri and Jenny revealed their exits, “The View” creator admitted that she’s got no clue what that means for the show.

“I don’t know…I’m not sure. I know The View will continue,” Barbara told “Extra” correspondent AJ Calloway. “I don’t think we have a new direction, yet. I think we have time.”

There’s been chatter that producers are interested in bringing Rosie O’Donnell back to the show and adding Laila Ali to the panel. If Barbara’s still looking for someone new, though, Wendy Williams thinks Stacey Dash would be a perfect fit for the show!

“Why not Stacey Dash? You kill two birds with one stone,” Wendy reasoned. “You get the Republican and you get the black girl”
