Kanye West was recently up in arms about his popular wedding kiss photo with his wife, Kim Kardashian. Evidently, famed photographer, Annie Leibovitz was commissioned to snap the first photo of the married couple, but pulled out a day before their nuptials. Kanye was pissed and explained to the world that it took him a grueling four days to edit the photo to perfection himself. “We worked on our wedding photo for four days until it was good enough for Instagram,” Yeezy said during the Cannes Lions Festival.

Clearly, Kanye’s diligence paid off because the photo has made Instagram history with over two million likes and 35K comments! Kanye said that his poor wife was exhausted on their honeymoon because of all the countless hours he spent editing the photo.

Rich people problems aside, I just want to let Yeezy know that taking four days to edit one simple photo is never the way. Happy newlyweds don’t want to spend their first couple of days as one worrying over the colors of the roses in their wedding photos. So, in order to save you from this same agony, I’ve decided to give you a guide on how to take the perfect wedding kiss photo that won’t take you a grueling four days. You’re welcome.

Step 1: No Tongue

Resist the urge to use your tongue on your significant other in your wedding photo. While your overly giddy mood may lend itself to you being outrageous, please, keep it classy and keep your tongue in your mouth.

Step 2: Make Sure There’s No Photobombs

We’re living in the days of the photobomb. Make sure that there are no pesky background appearances in your photo. This will ruin your chance to have the perfect, heavily liked and commented on photo.

Step 3: Hire An Editor

Kanye is clearly the best at everything…of all times. Recently, while in Cannes, Kanye explained, “Throughout my entire life, because of how my parents raised me, I have to work with the number one.” Clearly, Kanye doesn’t think that any other photographer exists after Annie Leibovitz declined the offer to shoot Kimye at their wedding. Since he didn’t take it upon himself to hire a photo editor, you’ve got to assume that he thought he’d be the number one choice.

And there you have it beauties–the perfect wedding kiss photo to share on Instagram in less than four days! Happy snappin’!
