Don’t get swayed by the bs about his mother being light skinned. Has nothing to do with it. It’s a black American thing. The only difference here is that he openly admitted it. The truth is many, many men (and women) feel that way. Most have just learned to hide their true opinion because so many folks get mad. I find it hilarious when people call a guy ignorant for expressing a penchant for light skinned women and then say, “oh, not me. I like a dark skinned, chocolate sista.” lol. What’s the difference? It’s ALL preference. If one opinion is ignorant guess what — so’s the other.Personally, I think folks should lighten up (no pun intended). If a person likes light skin or whatever, that should be their business.The only reason people get upset is because they feel their toes stepped on. Same as if someone expresses an affinity for slim women. All the heavy sistas start banging their keyboards.lol.There’s really nothing wrong with any of it. Same as when women express a dislike for short men. Why is that right, but a guy’s dislike for fat (something they at least have the ability to change) is frowned upon? It’s just hypocrisy.

Also, you will have many young darkskinned girls feeling insecure about themselves because they know he wouldn’t even look at them simply because they’re darksinned. His mom is NOT light in skin complexion. She is medium brown. She has corase hair. They have Negroid features. They do not have Caucasion or Asian features. Negroid is not a bad word.
They both look 100% Black American.
I am considered dark by my ethnic group and I am several shades lighter than his mom and with bi-racial features.
Why must Black not accept their skintone,hair texture. You look like what you look like and so what.
