Kordell Stewart and Porsha Williams are no longer married, but the former NFL star said he is embarrassed of his former wife’s actions.

According to Radar Online, Porsha’s hair-pulling brawl with Kenya Moore on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta’ reunion special was beyond disturbing for Kordell, and he’s “distancing himself from Porsha, now more than ever.”

A friend of the athlete told the site “he’s embarrassed for her.”

“During their marriage, he thought Porsha acted inappropriately to get ratings for the show and wasn’t a good role model for his son [Syre],” the insider explained. “Her fight on national TV proves that.”

The source went on to say that Kordell is happy to put Porsha’s antics behind him. “When Kordell allowed BRAVO into his life, it went against everything he stood for,” the pal explained. “He is a very private person but compromised for fame-hungry Porsha.”

As we reported earlier, Kordell filed to end his marriage with Porsha in March 2013, citing their union was “irretrievably broken.” After a messy, public dispute, their divorce was finalized in December.

Since their separation, the insider said Kordell is “focusing on his son.”

“When he’s ready to get serious, he wants a women who will be a good role model to his son,” the source said of his love life. “He’s looking for someone who is driven, intelligent, [and] can take care of herself.”
