Waka Flocka Flame is trying to dig himself out of a big hole.

The hip-hop artist issued a public apology to Oprah Winfrey today after an old video of him calling her an “ugly b*tch” surfaced online earlier this week.

“I feel obligated to take responsibility for my actions and publicly apologize to Oprah,” Waka said in a statement to TMZ. “My remarks about you were both extremely unnecessary and disrespectful. This regretful situation made me look at women and how I address them in a more responsible way.”

He went on to say that his momager Debrah Antney was “disgusted” by his disrespectful comments.

The cell phone video, which was shot three years ago, was published on RadarOnline.com.

“She’s got a million dollar p*ssy,” one of Waka’s friends said in the 22-second clip. The “No Hands” rapper responded: “I won’t f**k that ugly b*tch!”

Come on, Waka!
