NewME Accelerator, a nationally recognized Startup Accelerator for minorities and women based in San Francisco, has hit the road and is making its rounds in Brooklyn, New York (October 26-28); Durham, North Carolina (November 9-11); Kansas City, Missouri (November 16-17) and Oakland, California (November 23-26). As a part of their tour, they are looking for the best talent in these cities to find out who’s ready for Silicon Valley. They have launched this high-intensity version of the critically acclaimed program so female and minority entrepreneurs will get a taste of what it’s like to participate in the 12-week program in just three days.

Participants of the program will receive: one-on-one coaching from Silicon Valley business leaders, hands on workshops, and the opportunity to pitch their idea to local and Valley-based investors with the chance to win $45,000 worth of prizes from their sponsors and the opportunity to participate in the NewME Accelerator in San Francisco.
During the PopUp, participants will meet with Founders and teams 1-on-1 in 50 minute sessions giving them personalized feedback on their startup or project.
Master Class: The Art of the Pitch, Part 1 & Part 2: They will also join them for 2 group workshops where they will help participants craft the perfect pitch deck (Part 1) and present it like a boss (Part 2).
Workshops will include preparation work assigned prior to class. Finally on Demo Day, participants will pitch to a panel of investors for a chance to win a potential slot in a 2013 NewME Accelerator class and a prize pack from product sponsors worth over $45,000.
