Candice Glover’s debut album isn’t scheduled to be released until February 18, 2014, but apparently iTunes didn’t get the memo.

According to Yahoo, iTunes accidentally released Music Speaks this week and fans of the “American Idol” season 12 winner were shocked to find empty files and just two track listings.

Sources say the mix up was caused by a date change. Glover’s album was originally scheduled to drop in July, but it was pushed back to October 8 due to schedule conflicts with the “American Idols Live!” summer tour. And then just a week before October release date, the project was delayed yet again to February 18, 2014.

Unfortunately, communication was lost somewhere in the mix and iTunes still went with the October 8th date. However, to everyone’s surprise, the music-less album still peaked at number four on the charts!

How cool is that?!

Check out what Candice had to say about the incident below.
