Nicki Minaj used her celebrity to avoid a traffic violation today. According to TMZ, a New York police officer was on the verge of giving the singer a ticket until she agreed to write a personal note for the cop’s daughter.
“My beautiful barb Ayana,” the rapstress wrote. “You and your mom are amazing! Love always, Nicki.”

The reason for the encounter is unclear but we do know Nicki walked away empty-handed. She shared a photo of the note to her Instagram followers with this caption: “Her mother is a traffic cop. She was about to give us a tkt.”
