Following the high-profile ceremony for the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” speech, family members of late civil rights leader were involoved in an auto accident.

TMZ reports that the charter bus carrying King’s siblings, grandchildren and friends collided with a van near Washington’s Tidal Basin just off the National Mall. Sources on the scene say the van ran a red light.

Thankfully, no one was seriously injured, just a little shaken up. According to reality star Omarosa, who was aboard the bus, they “just got banged up a lil bit.”

“We were very afraid. There were children on the bus, seniors and everything,” she told CNN. “Everybody was thrown out of their seats.”

The bus driver was transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
