Sure, you receive invitations from the same people you fellowship with on Facebook and Twitter, however, the goal of LinkedIn is to link you to those you do not know per se. If there is an open position you are interested in, locate the executives who may have some insight into getting you hired for that job. Also, if you are an entrepreneur looking for new opportunities and clients, make the most of LinkedIn to garner new business and make new connections with those who may be able to assist you in building your business and your brand.
