It’s been almost a month since Paris Jackson’s sucide attempt, and according to family and friends the 15-year-old is getting better and will be released from the hospital soon.

Debbie Rowe took to her Twitter account to update the world on Paris’ status. “My daughter has asked that I extend a huge thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers and support,” she wrote.

“She is strong like her father,” she added, referring to late pop icon Michael Jackson.

Paris’ uncle Jackie Jackson told E! News that his niece is going to make it through this difficult time.

“She’s doing wonderful right now,” he said. “She’s getting better. She should be out soon.”

“We wish her a speedy recovery,” her uncle Marlon Jackson added. “We love her. After all that she’s gone through, losing a father—that’s hard on a youngster. So she’s staying strong.”

The family has yet to announce the young teenager’s exact release date.
