Hot 97 DJ Mister Cee made headlines after he was arrested and charged with patronizing a prostitute who turned out to be an undercover cop.

According to the original report, the prostitute whom he tried to solicit sex from was male, however the popular New York City disc jockey recently took to the airwaves to set the story straight.

“I am not gay,” he said in an interview on Hot 97. “If I’m lying and I chose not to come out, that’s my choice.”

He claims the undercover officer who approached him was a woman.

According to Cee, a female officer approached his vehicle after he pulled over to make a phone call in Brooklyn. She offered sex and Cee said he declined. “They tried to turn it around and say the female officer was a male officer,” he said. “It was a sting operation.”

Although he denies homosexuality rumors, he did admit to a love for prostitutes. “I have an addiction to not only prostitution, but an addition to getting a quickie,” he said.

Mister Cee, whose real name is Calvin Lebrun, went on to say that he will take a self-imposed suspension from the station. “I’m going to suspend myself, I’m going to take myself off the radio,” he said. “I’m going to take some time off and I’m going to suspend myself.”

According to the New York Daily News, this wasn’t first time the music man’s love for prostitutes got him in trouble with the law. In 2011, he pled guilty to “a charge of loitering for the purpose of engaging in prostitution after he was arrested for receiving oral sex from another man in a parked car.”
