There was talk about Porsha Stewart’s now-estranged husband being controlling, but looks like the Real Housewives of Atlanta star has found her voice.
Porsha has responded to Kordell Stewart’s divorce filling by asking for alimony and exclusive access to their Atlanta mansion. According to reports, she claims she gave up her life to help care for Kordell’s son from a previous relationship, so now he needs to pay up.

TMZ reports that Porsha’s attorney Randall Kessler filed legal documents, stating that her marriage held her back professional carrer. She quit her job, sold her business and devoted her life to taking care of Kordell and his kid.
“Mrs. Stewart had held off on filing for a divorce herself and remained committed to the marriage because Mr. Stewart promised to work on the marriage with her,” her rep told Us Weekly.
After less than two years of marriage, Kordell filed for divorce early this week. Porsha said she was blindsided by the news.
According to a close friend, “Her whole identity is about being a happy, obedient wife. The other women [on RHOA] criticized her for not having a backbone but she was like, ‘A real marriage is about honoring your man, your king.’ She is really upset.”
