Trey Songz shows off his tender and emotional side in the latest video “Fumble” off his Chapter V album. Trigga is known to steal the ladies’ hearts with his love ballads, but in this slow jam he sings an apology to a long-lost love.
The black and white visual opens with Songz penning a love letter. “I was wrong. I see that now. You let me hold something so beautiful that I couldn’t comprehend how valuable it was until I dropped it,” he says.

The video shows live footage of the R&B crooner on tour. As he juggles life and career, he’s constantly reminded of his failed relationship and shortcomings.
“It’s basically a song about having the one person that’ll do whatever for you, the one person that’ll go to the end of the world and back, and you not realizing it until it’s damn near too late,” he said in an interview with Billboard. “It’s essentially about having someone’s heart in your hands and dropping it.”
