“American Idol” won’t stand in the way of Mariah‘s forthcoming music schedule! The mom of two, who is currently preparing her new album with long-time friend and producer Jermaine Dupri, is reportedly set to release a new track– “Almost Home” for the Disney’s “Oz The Great And Powerful” film’s soundtrack on Feb. 19th, listed USAToday. Carey co-wrote and co-produced the song.
“Almost Home” has a message that works beautifully with the film,” said Mimi. “It’s a feel-good record, evoking the feeling of reaching your home and being with people that you love.”
