Rihanna is preparing to debut her first-ever collection with River Island at London’s Fashion Week on February 16th. And because Ri-Ri loves us so much, the 24-year-old Barbadian singer gave us a sneak peek into her designing process in this behind-the-scenes video.

“I wanted all types of girls to really want to wear this and feel comfortable in it but still feel edgy,” she says. “I wanted character to come out in the clothes without trying too hard.”
Her inspiration for this line came from watching the street style crews in the UK. I am personally excited to see what Rihanna is drumming up. Something tells me this venture will out live Kanye’s try at designing clothes.
