Rapper Drake has a message for retailers Macys and Walgreens and all other retailers who have used the term “YOLO,” made popular by his song “The Motto,” for their profit. “Walgreens . . . you gotta either chill or cut the cheque,” he said on Instagram followed by a similar message directed at Macys!

Wayne’s clothing line Trukfit may be sold in Macys, but clearly Drizzy didn’t give them his consent to use “Yolo.” According to RollingStone, the first use of “Yolo” came in 2004, on the NBC reality show “The Average Joe.” The character Adam Mesh launched a “YOLO” clothing line later that year!
