UK-based blonde bombshell and Roc Nation songstress, Rita Ora, seems to be finally stepping out from under Rihanna‘s shadow. She recently released her new video for “Shine Ya Light” which was shot in her hometown of Pristina, Kosovo.

In the video, Rita greets thousands of her local fans and runs free in the streets wearing her country’s flag all while singing and doing the dutty-wine on top of buildings that overlooks Pristina, Kosovo. The song “Shine Ya Light” is the third single from her debut studio album, “Ora”. The album was released on Aug. 27 in the U.K. No official U.S. release date for the album has been announced.

I kinda adore this girl. Rita has a very refreshing Aaliyah-esque style, you know, big baggy jeans, and puffy coats paired with just a bra. Her strong vocals are just a sign that she’s here to stay. I’m totally geeked for the US album debut.
The UK star is currently on tour for the MTV Presents The Ora Tour with special guests, Iggy Azalea and Havana Brown.
