This time on “Tamar & Vince”, the couple went therapy to try and figure out why they haven’t been able to get along lately. Can’t say that we didn’t see that one coming–they fight almost every episode about everything from bologna sandwiches to Vince’s health–something’s got to give. The therapist thought that they had some unresolved issues, mainly from Vince because Tamar didn’t want to have a child just yet. Vince didn’t think that was the case rather than the fact that Tamar is on 10, 20, and 30 at all times and has a smart mouth that even he can’t stand. Vince told the therapist that even though he really wanted to have a child, he had given up on hope that it would happen right away.

Must Read: Happy Wife, Happy Life “Tamar & Vince”

After therapy, Vince and Tamar decided to work on their relationship while on vacation, and what better place than Hawaii to take all their cares away. Friends: April and LaShawn, tagged along and together the two couples get ready for some fun in the sun and a little R&R which does not stand for, “ratchetness and ridiculousness”- thanks to Tamar for that clarification. When they first arrived in Hawaii, while driving around, they listened to some of Tamar’s records and that girl can sing! Vince was extremely proud of his wife and was falling in love with her all over again. It looked like things were getting better between the couple already!

After they settled into paradise, the ladies decided that they would surprise their hubby’s and take them on a romantic canoeing date, but forgot one thing: neither April or LaShawn could swim! The canoeing experience didn’t last too long since LaShawn feared for his life.

Vince decided to take a break from the group and go play volleyball on the beach. It was all fun and games until he decided to play with a married white couple, and considering Tamar’s fear of Vince’s fetish for blonde women, we knew an argument was near. Tamar started doing her usual: rolling her neck, jumping to conclusions, and being loud and talking about how everybody wanted Vince. Come on, Tamar, didn’t you learn anything from the therapy session?  Vince started to get annoyed with his wife’s actions, and started an argument with her about her mouth, again. At this point, it was time for an intervention from Tamar’s friend April who told her that maybe she should just shut her mouth. AGREED!

The couples decided to go to dinner to celebrate their last night on the tropical island and bond. They picked each other’s brains about how much a couple should be sharing with each other in a marriage.  Everything started great with each person talking about things they liked in a marriage until Tamar kept interrupting Vince when he was trying to talk. “You don’t have to be the center of attention, and it doesn’t have to be all about you,” Vince told Tamar. Tamar thought that things should not be separate in a marriage because it could cause trust issues while Vince believed that if someone believed that their spouse would cheat on them that they should just leave. Vince clearly shouldn’t have made that comment because that set hurricane Tamar OFF. She started arguing with him and finally, a fed up Vince walked away leaving a crying Tamar in disbelief. SMH, so much for a “happy wife, happy life”.
