Singer, songwriter–Ester Dean— makes her acting debut in “Pitch Perfect,” the “Glee”-like film about a rocker chick who is chosen to join acapella group– “The Barn Bellas.” Backed by 10 other cool chicks, Dean leads her group through street sing-offs and heavy dance routines. HollywoodReporter called the film “enjoyably snarky” while Spartan Daily said “Pitch Perfect,” “promises laughs, music and portrayal of real college life.”
