This time on, “T.I & Tiny: The Family Hustle,” our favorite southern family headed to the Midwest for a little vacation and by family…we mean Tip, Tiny AND Shekinah (insert Tip’s long sigh here) time. Tip had to do some album promotion, and needed to visit Detroit, then hit Chicago since he was asked to be the Grand Marshall of the Bud Billiken Parade. President Obama was the first choice, but since his schedule was full, Tip was the next obvious choice to fill the role.

When Tiny told Shekinah about the trip to Detroit and Chicago, Shekinah was excited but knew that Tiny had ulterior motives for inviting her to attend, “Are you taking me to enjoy Chicago, or are you taking me to do your hair?” As we already know, Tiny’s hair does not do itself, so obviously Shekinah was well needed on this trip but Shekinah didn’t mind going because she had one thing on her agenda and that was to find Oprah.

In Chicago, the girls visited the Willis Building (formerly the Sears Tower), which is the tallest building in the country. Once they reached the top, Shekinah gazed over the entire city and asked, “Oprah, where are you?!” After visiting the Willis Building, Tiny and Shekinah visited Harpo Studios and Shekinah bravely walked in and asked the security, “Where Oprah at girl?” As we suspected, the security guard did NOT let her see Oprah! At this point, Tiny had enough and called Shekinah psycho!

When they finally met up with Tip, Shekinah and Tiny told him about their day. Tip broke the news to Shekinah hard: “Oprah’s not looking for you, that’s for damn sure!” Ouch Tip, way to be blunt! Overall, the girls and Tip had a great time at the parade, and although Shekinah did not find Oprah, she did run into Jesse Jackson and took a picture with him on her iPad. “At least she met someone famous,” Tiny said.

Somebody give Shekinah her own show! LOL
