Yes, our title is correct. Let’s just say NeNe Leakes is moving on up the Hollywood ladder – I ain’t mad at all. The 44-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta star was photographed for Vogue’s October issue alongside the other cast members from “The New Normal” – a sitcom based on the life of Glee’s creator, Ryan Murphy.

In the new comedy series, which airs on Tuesdays at 9.30pm on NBC, NeNe plays Rocky, the self-described ‘half-giraffe, half-drag queen’ assistant to one half of the show’s gay soon-to-be parents. NeNe landed the role of Rocky after receiving rave reviews as Coach Roz Washington on the sitcom Glee.

For the feature she poses in a $795 Stella McCartney color block dress with $1,095 Giuseppe Zanotti black mesh platform booties. Very appropriate for the wife and mother of two. NeNe is one of the few RHOA cast members to take their realitism to mainstream. She recently launched her shoe line with ShoeDazzle and is said to have signed with Beanstalk, global licensing company, to create an affordable clothing line. I bet Kim Zolciak is gagging right now.

Geeked at the news of her Vogue appearance, NeNe tweeted the news to friends, fans, and stans:

Vogue editor, Anna Wintour, has been rumored to hate reality tv, and those who profit from it. Anna has even given a few side-eyes to Kim Kardashian when she’s showed up with Kanye West for her fashion events. This photo may be a nod from Anna on NeNe’s legitimate career as a television star.

Vogue’s October issue will hit newsstand on September 24th. Will you be getting a copy?
