They finally made it through the kitchen and the argument into Tamar’s “Theater Puppet Room, for a little impromptu performance from Tamar in which she opens with, “This one right here I wrote especially for the overweight lover in the house” and begins a rendition of “Get Your Life.”

After the tour, the rest of Tamar and Vince’s friends arrive for the dinner party, which include Mary J Blige, Tisha Campbell-Martin, Kenny Smith, Brian and Lisa Kelly and more! Over dinner, Tamar and Vince share hilarious stories from their relationship and even talk about the time that Tamar baked Vince a birthday cake and he took it home to share with his then-girlfriend!

The couples give Tamar and Vince advice on how to keep a successful relationship, but Tamar tells them that it’s difficult being married to her “husbandger.” “I think the number one challenge of being married to my husbandger is that he feels like I don’t know when to cut off work and husband time,” Tamar tells them.

Vince proved this when he showed up at the studio Tamar was recording in with Lashawn–Vince’s right-hand man. It’s obvious that Tamar is a perfectionist and wants the album to be great which is why she’s putting the baby plans on hold right now. When Vince comes by the studio, Tamar is overly excited to see him, but her attitude quickly changes when she sees Vince take a seat on the couch at the studio and immediately get on his phone. “You need to be involved. That’s how I feel about it,” Tamar complained.

After the studio session, Vince and Tamar have lunch to talk about the album. “What are the benefits of being married to Vincent V. Herbert if I can’t get the five star treatment?”  Tamar and Vince start joking with each other until Tamar takes it too far and starts joking about the baby. Vince doesn’t want to talk about having a baby with Tamar and is upset that she isn’t taking the situation more serious.

Tamar has another studio session, this time with Harvey Mason Jr. When Tamar gets into the booth and starts singing, she’s apprehensive when Vince says the song sounds “cool.” Tamar wants Vince to give more critiques but Vince only wants to be a supportive husband and doesn’t want to step on Harvey’s toes. “You said you wanted Harvey to produce your record.  You didn’t say nothing about Vincent Herbert producing your record.”

After Vince made this statement, the couple quickly starts arguing, again. LaShawn and April step in and try to give the couple advice. After hearing both sides of the story, LaShawn is able to explain to both of them the other person’s side. It seems as if Tamar is insecure in the studio and she Vince to put in more input. Will this couple ever come to a mutual agreement?
