Michael Kors’ Spring 2013 collection captured the life of the preppy 60’s crew with primary colors in prints and patterns showcased before a star-studded audience in the Lincoln Center. It almost felt like the Oscar’s sitting amongst Hollywood’s elite–like Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones. This season’s runway show was so far left from his 2012 ho-hum beige and cream safari theme. In what he calls “Geometric Glamour,” Kors gives us the best of a girlie girl’s world–A-lined nautical striped skirts and dresses, skinny khakis, fresh trench dresses with wide belts, and racy cut out evening gowns.

With this collection I plan to go even broker – those clear cap-toe heels and that striped A-line dress, yes please! I mean really, everything you need for a complete fashionista’s closet lies in this spring collection. Head to toe MK, is that too cliché?
