These women were not ghetto, not in the least. I didn’t see the whole episode about the chick flipping a table over. That was simply entertainment to me. I do know black women who have lost it enough to flip a table over, but the cameras are not on us. If she felt that is what she had to do then hey, flip it, if it keeps you from whooping someone’s butt.

I loved the show and i’m shocked that anyone thought that show was ghetto. I thought that the show was entertaining as hell and i’m waiting for the second season. What’s so ghetto about ladies going through situations that people can relate to? Each of these ladies (i don’t know too much about what kim does) each are doing something productive and helping the community in their lives.

Well the show is not really ghetto, but ignorant individuals think because it’s a black people show, it must be. That’s the world that we live in, the “Great” USA. No matter what happens, even though we have a black president, African Americans will always be second to whites. So, just ignore the people who say the show is ghetto. Besides, great people don’t care about negativity, they only care about positive things. So, the actors, or whatever, the people on the show should just ignore those who said their show is ghetto, and move on. You can’t change people’s small minds, the only thing you can do, is do what you do the best way it can be don.

To see ppl say that this show is Ghetto is really upsetting to me. Ghetto is everywhere in every different race, culture and whatever else you name it, it’s there. Does this show make black ppl look better? No, it just makes us seem as if we are selfish and loud people. Seriously if they put a show out like that they should knew better. I love seeing black people live better lifestyles. However, I must say, im sadened to see rich black people, waste money on expensive European material items, rather than focus on uplifting the black communities. Sure its your money, your life, your choice; but that money could have bought computers, school books, chemistry labs, college funds, or whatever black kids in school need to advance in education, and better compete with suburban kids who’s schools are up to date in technology. Blacks waste money trying to “out do” other blacks, rather than pooling our money together to Educate, and uplift our entire race, and our future race of people.

We place higher standards on our Black women, it’s not that they don’t have class; it’s that they refuse to use it. The things we hold important and the things white women hold important are different. For instance; in the episode in (HW-New Jersey) that Lisa is speaking about where the table is overturned, she angry cause they messing with her family. But in (HW_Atlanta) they angry over who can and cannot sing or whose clothes look the best or who got invited to whose party, “Dumb stuff”! That’s why they are noted has “Ghetto”! You want a first class rating? Then hold yourself to higher standards and stop the (BS)!
