Bullying is a major concern for parents these days. Bullying has always had a presence amongst young people, but it has definitely reached a new level that no one could have ever imagined.

Bullying has been the cause of many teen suicides in recent years. According to the CDC, Suicide is the third leading cause of death among young teens. And according to Yale University, “Bully victims are between two and nine times more likely to consider suicide than non-victims.” – Bullystatistics.org

This is so scary. How did we let it get to this? There should be no reason why our children should have to endure such pain that they would result to taking their own lives. As parents, we have to stand together and protect our children from such hatred. We need to educate our children that Bullying will not be tolerated and there are consequences to such behavior. There is too much in this world–poverty, homelessness, racism, etc. Let’s not add Bullying to the list.
