There’s a crazy level of WTF going on with this entire Trayvon Martin Tragedy. George Zimmerman still hasn’t been charged with Trayvon Martin’s murder. This is just ridiculous. Zimmerman has so much support and the reasoning that they’re coming up with to defend him is beyond crazy.

First, it was self-defense that caused the death of Trayvon Martin at George Zimmerman’s faux neighborhood watching hands. Then it was Trayvon Martin’s “delinquent” past and questionable Twitter account being considered in his murder case. Oh and let us not forget the fools that are trying to raise funds for Zimmerman’s defense.

And now–George Zimmerman’s recently added attorney, Hal Uhrig is claiming that because of the alleged impact of Zimmerman’s head being slammed into the ground by Martin is comparable to Shaken Baby Syndrome and Zimmerman has suffered through brain damage and has included this fact in his defense for the racist killer.

NBC Producer Made Editing Error Handling George Zimmerman Phone Call Audio

“We’re familiar with the Shaken Baby Syndrome,” said Uhrig on the CBS This Morning program. “You shake a baby, the brain shakes around inside the skull. You can die when someone’s pounding your head into the ground.” Newsflash Uhrig, you can also die a lot quicker when someone shoots you. He then goes on with more buffonery, “He [Zimmerman] didn’t commit any crime. He was attacked, broke his nose, hit his head into the ground and he defended himself. That’s not against the law.”

Smh. These people are hardly even surprising me anymore with the way they’re handling this case. The defense is a complete joke. Comparing Zimmerman’s mentality to that of a baby that’s been shaken and therefore pretty much causing him to kill Trayvon is just plain silly. It’s an insult that the Stand Your Ground Law will protect a blatant murderer. I’m sickened by all of this.

What do you think about Zimmerman’s attorney trying to use brain damage as a defense? Let’s discuss on Twitter @Rhapsodani.
