I have a lot of respect for Nick Cannon. I don’t care whether Eminem is racist, though. Seventy-five percent of rap is consumed by teenage white boys. Eminem has to say immature things to keep the dumb demographic groups coming out of their pockets. Nick Cannon is handling this matter in a mature responsible way and Cannon will prevail and emmerge as the bigger man. It is time for these young children to learn that disrespecting women is just unacceptable in our society. Also, Mariah Carey is THE MOST SELLINGEST FEMALE ARTIST. Mariah Carey’s talent is simply undeniable, like Mary J. Blige, Whitney Houston, and many other black female artists. You just don’t disrespect the prima donna we know as Mariah Carey. I love all of Mariah Carey’s music. She is super super awesome. You just don’t disrespect an artist like Mariah Carey. She makes many people happy with her music. She is one of those artists that make you feel the music. I love all of her music and she has the best Christmas song of all times. I am not even Christian yet I love when her Christmas song plays and I know the words verbatim. Mariah Carey is super awesome.

I stopped buying eminem’s cd after the second CD. i dont suport artists who go out of their way to disrespect other artists just to set themselve’s apart. I felt like he was wrong to disrespct, Pink, Christina Aguleria, and several other white pop acts who did what could be considered as black music, just because he was insecure and he thought that he was going to be called out for the fraud that he is. plus he gloated that he was the best thing since Elvis presley that “used black music so selfishly and used it to get his self wealthy.” That turned me off to him long before i heard the ameture track of him calling black girls out of their names. I wont lie, i still listen to his first album, and i wish he would get off this gimmick rap that he does now for shock value and go back to laying his soul out like he did when he was hungry and had this raw talent.
I actually think Mariah is more capable of recording a better diss track against Eminem than is Nick. Mariah talks slick on some tracks, and it’s actually really sexy. “Did I do that” is the shisnit from the rainbow CD. I don’t know who it was aimed at…hmm, may have been Eminem, come to think of the time frame, but she was gritty and classy all at the same time….yeah, leave it to Mariah to defend herself Nick…let her call in some help from her veteran rapper friends like Nas, Jayz, Bone thugs or Da Brat if she needs help.

Alright, this uneducated talk of this kind must cease and desist.

Eminem has been known to be a lyricist of great talent and while, yes it is true, he has talked about Black Women in the past, this is not the first time and probably not the last that we’ll hear from Em about Mariah Carey or any other celebrity woman for that matter.

As far as Nick Cannon is concerned with this matter, he’s taken it to a point that really isn’t even necessary simply because he can’t compete in comparison to lyrical skill and I would be hard pressed to say that he was wrong in coming to the defense of his wife. He says that Mariah told him that nothing ever happened between Em and Her, but the likelihood that She would be telling the truth about the situation after all this time is slim to none. Ironic as that last sentence pun was, it’s still unlikely she would admit anything about a relationship between Marshall and Herself if there was one.

The matter boils down to who’s the bigger person and just move on because this random stuff is ignorant.
As far as Buffstud78′s comments go, I don’t understand his usage of such an offensive term for such random stupid stuff. The only reason I have chosen to address this issue is because this randomness has to be one of the most lackluster as far as intelligence goes. Nick Cannon’s comments in regards to Black Women being the base of our culture was in regards to the African American culture and in that respect is highly true. Just because our numbers do not outweigh the majorities here in the U.S. does not mean we don’t have more of an effect than that majority. I don’t need to get too much into that as African American culture has been seen in so many different avenues and even the history of slavery shows, for those intellectual few, the impact of African American culture on America.
