At oprahs age she has to consider all options because excess weight can contribute to Diabetes, Heart disease, arthritis and various other illness which may result in death. I say do what you got to do, surgery should not be the first option but is an option…… As we all age the tyroid and other internal mechaisms which control weight and disease often do not function properly , OPRAH DO WHAT WILL KEEP YOU LIVING!
