The Trinidad-born singer/songwriter was featured at this year’s Radio One Blitz Showcase and definitely proved that she’s up next. Tennille’s unique style of music has brought her to the forefront of the entertainment world. She’s credited music greats like Lauryn Hill and Bob Marley as some of her major influences.

From melodious pop records to meaningful hip-hop tracks and songs showing off her soulful reggae roots, Tennille is a force to be reckoned with. She is set to release her debut album, EVOLVE through LOVE later this year. Her first single, ‘Not the One,’ was released in 2015, along with the follow-up single, ‘Lion,’ which showcases Tennille’s more conscious side.

But the rising star isn’t just a musical phenom, she is also known for her work as a philanthropist and public speaker. She co-founded the non-profit organization E.P.I.C.
