Nate Parker Won’t Apologizes For Rape
Nate Parker isn’t apologizing for the rape scandal that shrouds the release of his upcoming film Birth of a Nation.
The multi-talented actor appeared on 60 Minutes, where he acknowledged the rape, but refused to say he was sorry.
“I was falsely accused … I went to court … I was vindicated,” Parker told host Anderson Cooper, according to a press release from the show. “I feel terrible that this woman isn’t here … her family had to deal with that, but as I sit here, an apology is – no.”
