Former NFL Running Back Zurlon Tipton Dies In Accidental Shooting

Zurlon Tipton, a former running back for the Indianapolis Colts, died after accidentally shooting himself at a car dealership in suburban Detroit, according to the Associated Press. Tipton was only 26 years old.

Roseville, Michigan, police claim the football player was handling a duffel bag when one of his two guns inside fired and lodged a bullet in his abdomen, the Huffington Post noted. Tipton was taken to St. John Hospital, where he later died.

Tipton appeared in 16 games over two seasons for the Colts, gaining 38 yards on 15 carries. He was released by the team in December, becoming a free agent, AP noted.

RIP Zurlon.

A Milwaukee woman accused of killing a pregnant woman has been added to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.

According to NBC News, The FBI is offering $100,000 for information that leads to the arrest of Shanika Minor, 24, who is being accused of killing her mother’s 23-year-old pregnant neighbor, who was also a former classmate. The mother-to-be was only five days away from her due date. Meanwhile, Minor hasn’t been seen since March.

Police believe Minor killed her neighbor over loud music being played after hours. Minor approached the pregnant woman with a gun, but that confrontation was broken up. The following day, Minor confronted her neighbor again and allegedly shot and killed her and her unborn child.

“This was a senseless crime,” Special Agent Chad Piontek told NBC. “We believe Minor is capable of more violence. We need to capture her so no one else is harmed.”

Authorities believe her extended family and friends are helping her stay under the radar.

Jessica Williams Exits ‘The Daily Show’ To Headline Comedy Series

The Daily Show actress and comedian Jessica Williams (top left) is officially leaving the Comedy Central nightly show to do her own thing.

In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly, Williams, the youngest correspondent to ever join The Daily Show, will exit the show on Thursday to focus on her own upcoming comedy for the network.

“I feel so many emotions,” the 26-year-old said. “I feel like I’m growing up and graduating.”

And her absence will be felt. “The sadness I have for Jessica leaving is only eclipsed by the joy I have for her starting her new show. If her podcast is anything to go by, it’s going to be an exciting show!” Daily Show host Trevor Noah told EW in an email.

Williams’ new job is to write, produce, and star in her own half-hour scripted series, which is part of the development deal she signed with CC back in March. Her show, which doesn’t have a title yet, is about “a politically minded young woman who may be ‘woke’ but doesn’t know what she’s doing,” according to the official description.

“It’s a show about someone in their 20s who has all these social ideas but still, like, does not have it together,” Williams. “And she’s goofy and silly and funny!”

Good luck, Jessica!
