One of the four victims from a shooting that occurred Wednesday evening (May 25.) at New York City’s Union Square Irving Plaza music hall has broken her silence from the hospital bed.

Model and exotic dancer, Maggie Carrie Heckstall posted a message on Instagram to let people know that she’s not given a signed statement to the New York Police Department as of Saturday evening.

Her message reads: I do not know who shot me. I have not given a signed statement to the NYPD or detectives.. Nor have my lawyers! The situation happened so fast that I didn’t look to see what was going on. I was trying to get out of the room with my leg dangling. I didn’t even hear nothing about Troy Ave until the next day. As for the NYPD being at my door and denying my visits was very uncalled for. I don’t need protection. The bullet was a stray and my family coming to see doesn’t tamper with the detectives investigation.

The 26-year-old —who is also allegedly rapper, Maino’s girlfriend— was rushed to Bellevue Hospital where she’s recovery from the shot. In previous posts she thanked God and gave her status with a photo of her lying in bed. “I am out of surgery but still in the hospital,” she says. Adding, “I have not spoken to any reporters yet. I am just focusing on recovery & trying to see my family.”

But as of Sunday morning, the model had spoken to the New York Post about the incident and her upset with the NYPD. “We were going to make a Snapchat,” Heckstall told The Post in an exclusive interview, describing the moment before the incident. “And that’s when everything happened. I was grabbing my leg and trying to walk. But it was almost dangling off, so I couldn’t.”

Allegedly in the green room with friends, waiting for her boyfriend Maino to perform, one shooter opened fire.

“I’m a girl. I’ve never been shot. I’ve never been hospitalized. I’ve never had surgery,” she said about the investigators being intrusive. “I cooperated with the officers. I don’t know if they wanted me to tell them more, but I don’t know what happened. Shots went off. Lights went off. I just tried to get out the room… These people [investigators] are heartless.”

Rapper, Troy Ave who is seen on video surveillance shooting a gun, is being charged with attempted murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
