Looks like Nicki Minaj and her boyfriend, Meek Mill, are going strong. Or at least that’s what their Instagram accounts suggest.

On Friday, the rapper celebrated his 29th birthday with Minaj, 33 in his hometown of Philadelphia. For the occasion, Minaj gifted her boo with a gold, diamond-encrusted Joe the Jeweler watch. And because they’re a couple, she had on a matching watch in silver.

Nicki also shared a photo of his birthday cake that had an animated picture of them on dirt bikes. “The cake prior to him smashing papi’s face in it,” she said. “I’ll post the fire one tmrw.”

Meek also got a birthday visit from Rick Ross, who owns the label he’s signed to, Maybach Music Group. The pair seemed to enjoy downtime at Meek’s home, taking photos posted to Ross’s Instagram account.

According to TMZ, last February, Meek was given a minimum of 90 days on house arrest where he won’t be able to rap or perform, but only do charity work.

They note: Meek had been on probation for a 2009 drug and gun conviction when he skipped town for the AMAs in November without getting written permission from his probation officer. He also failed a pee test. A judge ruled in December he was in violation, despite heartfelt testimony from gf Nicki Minaj and Meek’s own waterworks. Nicki was in court on Friday, and was even brought into chambers with Meek and the judge to discuss what kind of charity work he’ll be doing. Meek has to turn himself in by March 1st, when he’ll get his ankle monitoring bracelet.

Meek’s judge will reevaluate his house arrest after the 90 days, but honestly, no one ever knows how these things will go. We do know that Nicki is holding on, which is very unexpected.
